QueerMed began in 2019 as a way to connect the LGBTQIAP+ community and healthcare professionals by providing educational opportunities to those working in the medical field, as well as helping to link the queer community to safe and useful healthcare resources.

Today, QueerMed continues to connect the LGBTQIAP+ community to healthcare resources in alignment with the most current expression of need from the community at large.

QueerMed is a resource started by a Young, Black, Trans* & Queer, aspiring Clinical Mental Health Professional,
​seeking to bring awareness to healthcare diversity needs and eliminate disparity within the LGBTQIAP+ community. The inspiration behind the QueerMed resource site was inspired by *this research paper*, which was written by QueerMed Founder, Saint Taylor (He/They).
