About Us
How We Got Started
QueerMed began in November of 2019 as a research topic for its Founder's, Saint Taylor (He/They), undergraduate Creative Writing course. From there, the idea blossomed into a website and free public resource for the LGBTQIAP+/Queer community and Healthcare Professionals, alike. Today, QueerMed has pivoted to best meet the needs of the LGBTQIA+ community. In a time where misinformation, queerphobia, and political inaction run rampant, QueerMed seeks to provide facts, safe resources, and awareness of calls to action, all on one website.

FAQs
Why is QueerMed a .weebly.com instead of .com address?
- It is central to QueerMed's mission that the website and resources remain freely accessible to all who may benefit from them. That being said, upgrading to a more standardized and recognizable address (.com, .org. etc.) would result in maintenance fees and would eliminate the ability of QueerMed to remain a free resource.
Where is my favorite resource link/information?
- While QueerMed seeks to include the best resources available, some great people, places, and things slip through the cracks! If there is a resource that you think should be included on the QueerMed site, navigate to our Contact Page and let us know!
